Youth and Young Adult Fentanyl Messaging
Education & Awareness
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid, similar to morphine, but 50 to 100 times more potent.
It is used to treat pain in its prescription form, but is also made illegally and distributed as a street drug. Fake fentanyl is sold as a powder or made into pills that look like real prescription pills.
This section of the toolkit offers resources for groups to implement within their own coalitions and the communities they serve.
